Student Rules & Responsibilities

These rules govern how students must use the Real Public School management platform. All students are expected to read, understand, and comply with these rules at all times.

1. Introduction

The Real Public School management platform is provided to students to support their academic journey — including accessing results, submitting homework, reviewing attendance, receiving school notices, and communicating with teachers and school staff.

By using the platform, every student agrees to follow these rules and to use the platform responsibly, respectfully, and only for its intended educational purposes.

Who These Rules Apply To

These rules apply to all enrolled students of Real Public School who have been granted access to the school management platform, regardless of the device or location from which they access it.

2. Account Security

Students are responsible for maintaining the security of their account. You must:

  • Keep your username and password strictly confidential — never share them with anyone, including friends or classmates
  • Use a strong, unique password that you do not use for other services
  • Log out of your account when using shared, public, or school-lab devices
  • Never allow another person to use your account
  • Report any suspected unauthorized access to your account immediately to the school administration
  • Not attempt to access another student's, teacher's, or staff member's account

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, report it to the school administration immediately.

3. Appropriate Use

The platform is provided exclusively for educational and school-related purposes. Students must:

  • Use the platform only for school-related activities such as viewing results, submitting homework, checking attendance, and reading school notices
  • Access only your own information — you must not attempt to view another student's records, results, or personal information
  • Use the platform in a manner consistent with the school's values and code of conduct
  • Not use the platform for personal commercial activities, advertising, or any non-school purpose
  • Comply with all school policies and these rules while using the platform

4. Academic Integrity

Students must maintain academic honesty in all platform activities:

  • Submit only your own original work for homework and assignments
  • Do not copy, plagiarize, or submit another person's work as your own
  • Do not collaborate on individual assignments unless explicitly permitted by your teacher
  • Do not use AI-generated content in submissions without explicit teacher permission
  • Do not attempt to access exam papers, answer keys, or results before they are officially released

Academic Dishonesty

Academic dishonesty through the platform — including submitting plagiarized work or unauthorized collaboration — is subject to the school's academic integrity policy and may result in disciplinary action, including suspension from the platform.

5. Respectful Communication

When using any communication or messaging features on the platform, students must:

  • Communicate respectfully and professionally with teachers, staff, and other students
  • Not send harassing, threatening, abusive, or offensive messages
  • Not use the communication features to bully or intimidate any person
  • Not send unsolicited bulk messages or spam
  • Use communication features only for school-related purposes
  • Not share another person's private information through the platform's communication features

6. Homework & Assignment Submissions

When submitting homework or assignments through the platform:

  • Submit work before the deadline set by your teacher
  • Upload only permitted file types (PDF, DOC, DOCX, JPG, PNG, or as specified by your teacher)
  • Ensure uploaded files do not contain viruses, malware, or harmful content
  • Do not upload files that contain copyrighted material without proper authorization
  • Do not upload inappropriate, offensive, or irrelevant content
  • Label your submissions clearly as instructed by your teacher
  • Contact your teacher if you experience technical difficulties with submission

7. Prohibited Content

Students must not upload, share, or distribute any of the following through the platform:

  • Illegal content of any kind
  • Harmful, abusive, threatening, or offensive material
  • Copyrighted material uploaded without proper authorization or licensing
  • Malware, viruses, or any files designed to cause harm
  • Inappropriate images, videos, or documents
  • Another person's private or personal information without their consent
  • Content that violates the school's code of conduct or values

8. No Unauthorized Access

Students must not:

  • Attempt to access areas of the platform for which they are not authorized
  • Attempt to view, modify, or delete another student's, teacher's, or staff member's records
  • Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent any security controls or access restrictions
  • Exploit any vulnerabilities or bugs in the platform
  • Use automated tools, scripts, or bots to access the platform
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract source code from the platform

Unauthorized Access

Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the platform or another user's account is a serious violation and may result in immediate account suspension and reporting to appropriate authorities.

9. No Impersonation

Students must not:

  • Impersonate another student, teacher, parent, or staff member on the platform
  • Create or use a fake identity or profile
  • Misrepresent their identity in any communication or submission on the platform
  • Use another person's account or credentials, even with their permission

10. No Modification of School Records

Students must not:

  • Attempt to modify, alter, or delete any school records, including attendance, results, or academic data
  • Attempt to manipulate the platform to change grades, marks, or any academic information
  • Interfere with the integrity of any school data or records

If you believe any of your records contain an error, you must contact your teacher or the school administration through the proper channels to request a correction.

11. Reporting Issues

Students are encouraged and expected to report:

  • Any suspected security vulnerabilities or bugs in the platform
  • Any unauthorized access to their account or suspicious activity
  • Any inappropriate content or behavior observed on the platform
  • Any technical problems that affect their ability to use the platform

Reports should be made to the school administration or through the Grievance / Contact section. Good-faith reporting of security issues will not result in disciplinary action.

12. Consequences of Violations

Violations of these rules may result in:

  • A formal warning from the school administration
  • Temporary suspension of platform access
  • Permanent termination of platform access
  • Disciplinary action under the school's code of conduct
  • Reporting to parents or guardians
  • In serious cases, reporting to appropriate authorities

The severity of the consequence will depend on the nature and seriousness of the violation. Students may appeal disciplinary decisions through the school's grievance process.

13. Contact

For questions about these rules or to report a concern, please contact the school administration or use our Grievance Submission Form.
